Monday 4/5
19.00
FC
Midtjylland (1st) will be the champion. It seems highly unlikely that they will
lose their 12 points advantage with just seven matches remaining. This also
means that they might be taking the matches a bit lightly at the moment. FC
Midtjylland dominated the league SoTR in autumn (66.1%), but they have been
more human in 2015, where they are only second after Brøndby (58.3%). A partial
explanation is the many injuries. For this match, talismanic captain Kristian
Bach Bak is out. FC Midtjylland have only dropped two points in the 15 matches
he has played more than a half. In the remaining 11 matches, FC Midtjylland
have dropped points! Other important absent players are winger Pione Sisto and
central defender Jim Larsen. Positive is the return of Swedish midfielder
Kristoffer Olsson, but he is not ready for a starting role just yet. Randers
(3rd) are finding some form. The 3-0 win against FC Copenhagen last weekend was
very impressive, and showed how strong a team they are when all players are
fit. This should also be the case here. The players that there is some doubts
regarding, winger Jonas Borring and striker Djiby Fall, are not regular
starters. The return of captain Christian Keller has looked particularly
important for Randers, since he has giant importance in securing good defensive
organisation. Offensively, Mikael Ishak has been in great form. He scored twice
last weekend after some impressive finishing and he is currently being rumoured
to Heerenveen.
FC
Midtjylland have won all 13 home matches this season, which is a highly unique
statistic. Despite of this frightening statistic, we urge you not to be too
confident in the home win. FC Midtjylland have not played very good recently
and against a strong team on a high like Randers, their impressive streak could
come to an end. We go against statistics and side with Randers here.
