Brøndby (3rd) have been looking sharp lately. A combined 6-0 win in the last two matches have really been impressive. Brøndby have found some new energy after having been dealing with a lot of negative critique at the start of 2015. The better pitches should also be a partial explanation, since they have many technical players. The talismanic defender Daniel Agger left the last match early, but he should return here according to latest reports. Another one who returns is defensive midfielder Martin Ørnskov who missed last match with a ban. The two veterans Johan Elmander and Thomas Kahlenberg remain absent with injuries, but Brøndby have shown that they can cope without them. AaB (5th) have been even better than Brøndby in the last two matches. A combined 8-0 win is impressive after a period with poor performance and poor results. AaB have finally found some of the entertaining offensive play that led to the title win last season. The question is whether this is sustainable or more based on AaB facing poor opponents.
