FC Vestsjælland-FC Nordsjælland

Monday 7/4 19.00
After having parked the bus so well and for so long that it almost gave them a parking ticket, FC Vestsjælland (9th) got home with a draw from Esbjerg (0-0). This time they, the worst home team, are hosting the worst away team in the league: FC Nordsjælland (6th). It is unlikely that coach for FC Vestsjælland Ove Pedersen will use the same defensive tactic again since the fear of relegation is constantly showing its gruesome shadow over the promoted team and now that they are hosting they are more likely to go after the three points. The main threat FC Nordsjælland can pose is winger Joshua John. If he gets just a small area to work with he can be lethal. He has that game changing ability that FC Nordsjælland is lacking from others. But if a defence can prevent him at facing the goal with the ball it is almost a half victory and if we learned anything from FC Vestsjælland’s last match it is that they are capable of closing down on a game changer. Winger Uffe Bech has finally returned after a 6-month injury. He has previously showed glimpses of what he is capable of but with his lack of match form he still has some way to go.

Both teams have had troubles scoring this spring (FC Vestsjælland have scored three goals while FC Nordsjælland have scored seven). Add that it is the worst home and away team that match up a draw looks like a likely outcome.
