After
missing out on the title race last weekend due to a disappointing loss in
Aalborg, reigning champions FC Copenhagen (3rd) are set to bounce back.
Unfortunately bad news came out early this week. Midfielder Youssef Toutouh is
out for the remainder of the season due to a broken ankle. Another setback for FC
Copenhagen in what has been a difficult spring. They have yet to score more
than one goal in a match and this is the main reason that they are out of the
title race. A combination of poor finishing and the absence of strong
playmakers is our conclusion. To make things worse winger and offensive ace
Nicolai Jørgensen is out indefinitely. SønderjyskE (12th) are still holding on
with their fingertips. Everybody had them as favourites for relegation but
after some impressive matches like the previous two (win against Aalborg and
unlucky draw vs. OB (conceded equaliser in 93rd minute)) it is still hard to
say who will draw the shortest straw. Offensively SønderjyskE have improved a
lot with the additions of Rubin Okotie and Tommy Bechmann (from injury). Injury
wise wingers Johan Absalonsen and Silas Songani are on a day-to-day basis and
especially the former is crucial for SønderjyskE’s chances in this match.
With
Toutouh and Jørgensen out it is difficult to point out whom to create chances
for FC Copenhagen. A demolition of SønderjyskE seems out of the question.
During the last few weeks SønderjyskE have showed us that they are not out yet,
but based on play and chances they have actually been lucky.
They will probably have a hard time creating chances in this match. Our
conclusion is a low-scoring affair and odds on fewer than 2.5 goals are
attractive.
Idea: Under 2.5 goals - 2.12 at Unibet
