Brøndby-Randers

Brøndby (3rd) really made some impressive signings at the end of the transfer window. Out went top goalscorer Simon Makienok. In went club legend Daniel Agger and two strikers on loan from Celtic (Teemu Pukki and Holmbert Fridjonsson). The signing of Agger, the captain for the Danish national team, is really impressive and have led to Brøndby stadium being sold out for this match. Agger’s participation is doubtful however due to an injury. It will also be interesting to see how Brøndby copes without Makienok who has been Brøndby’s main striker for the past seasons (scoring 30 league goals since summer 2012). Pukki and Fridjonsson are talented players, but it is doubtful that they will perform from day one. Add to this that alternative striker Ariel Nuñez is out for two months with an injury. Brøndby definitely have offensive potential, but we would be surprised to see them harvest already. Left back Riza Durmisi is probably out with an injury, but Patrick da Silva is a strong back-up. Randers (5th) have been a bit unlucky in their last two matches, where they have been the better team but failed to take advantage (1 points against SønderjyskE and 0 points against OB). Randers lack a striker with confidence, and head coach Colin Todd is rotating all the time in the hope that one of the strikers suddenly starts to perform. Otherwise, Randers deliver some solid football. They have a strong organization and they rarely deviate from their classical 4-4-2 formation. They are currently without any important injuries, so the situation is good.

Under normal circumstances odds 1.85 for a home win would be a horrible offer, but with the uncertainty regarding the new signing and the effect of having a filled stadium in the back, we do not dare to recommend betting on Randers. Instead we post this as an idea, but we would suggest live betting. Then there is the possibility to lure if the Agger- and filled stadium-effect give Brøndby wings.
