SønderjyskE
(8th) played a great game in Aalborg where they won 4-1. They did what they did
best, counter-attacked. This is always a bit more difficult to use as approach
for home matches and this could be a partial explanation for SønderjyskE’s only
two wins at home. SønderjyskE will have to do without right back Sigurdsson who
is injured. Not good since FC Nordsjælland have strong wingers, so the
replacement (Paulsen or Beck) will get a lot to do. On the bright side is the
return of strong defensive midfielder Guira from suspension. FC Nordsjælland
(5th) have looked good in recent matches. However, they are clearly best at
home on their own artificial pitch. Away they struggle since their passing
style is not suited for poor pitches like the one in Haderslev. FC Nordsjælland
will have to without right back Ticinovic, and this is problematic since FC
Nordsjælland lacks a solid replacement. Furthermore, some central midfielders
(Mulder and Thorarinsson) are doubtful, and FC Nordsjælland could be affected
defensively. Offensively they look very strong with the likes of Jushua John
and David Moberg-Karlsson on the wings and with Uffe Bech is a fantastic joker
on the bench.
Although
SønderjyskE tend to struggle at home, FC Nordsjælland might be the optimal home
opponent. FC Nordsjælland do not mind having ball possession and this opens up
for SønderjyskE’s counter-attacking game. An over bet is also interesting with
both sides having strong offenses and a tendency to have H2H’s with many goals
(over 2.5 goals in seven out of last eight matches).

Over 2.5
goals – 2.15 at Ladbrokes
UPDATE: Mulder is out, why Nordsjælland will have some defensive issues. Moving Petry to right back is not good, since they will then miss Petry in central midfield. A young defender will probably get the shot at right back, but this is not optimal since SønderjyskE's left winger Absalonsen is one of the home teams best players.
