OB (10th)
seemed to drop the pace after the win at FC Vestsjælland three games ago. After
two losses in a row, OB need to get back on track here, otherwise the
relegation line is suddenly relevant again. Therefore, this is game that OB
cannot afford to lose. They should not have too, since they have a good team
with quality in all lines. However, they have been struggling with some
injuries, and it is still uncertain whether midfielder Mikkel Desler (been
great recently) and striker Kenneth Zohore return for the match. If they
return, OB can pick the best eleven, which should make them big favourites
here. FC Vestsjælland (11th) have been terrible in 2015. A SoTR of 29% in 2015
shows how poor FC Vestsjælland have been. The defence has been anything else
but solid, and is probably a partial reason for FC Vestsjælland letting
defender Michael Christensen leave immediately for Norwegian club Start.
Offensively, the new signings (Greek striker Vellios in particular) have not
had the wanted positive influence. One positive influence is left back Michael
Lumb, who returned in last round after having been out for the entire season
(0-1 loss to Brøndby). This was also the best match of 2015 for FC Vestsjælland
and Lumb is undoubtedly a huge influence on the away side. Central midfielder
Eggert Jónsson is banned.
FC
Vestsjælland are in our book the poorest team in the league, and although the
last match signalled better times ahead, we still believe that odds 2.00 for a
home win for a stronger OB side is nice.
Recommendation: 1 – 2.00 at Bet365
UPDATE: Zohore is out for OB, why Dalgaard will be the lone striker. Desler is expected to be back in the line-up.
