Friday 18/10 18.30
AGF (5th)
are sitting at the middle of the table and the upcoming matches will decide
whether the future talk will be about relegation or Europe. After two acceptable away draws they will be
eager to give their home fans a win on Friday. The squad status is pretty good.
Only midfielder Devdariani is possibly unavailable for the match. This also
means that AGF will be able to field the backline: Kirkeskov-Pasanen-Kure-Juel
Andersen, a backline that have not lost the entire season. AGF are not without
problems though. Striker Søren Larsen has not scored since his two game scoring
streak at the end of August and the alternatives have not showed good form. FC
Nordsjælland (12th) have not lost in two games in a row and the morale should
be improving. The outlook for the current match is not good though. The already
injury plagued squad has been punished with a new injury to winger Uffe Bech,
while two cornerstones in the FC Nordsjælland system, captain Nicolai Stokholm
and central defender Michael Jakobsen, are suspended. This results in a central
defence with the young Gregor and the unreliable Runje. In the midfield
Nordsjælland are also in great risk of getting dominated by the likes of Casper
Sloth and Kasper Povlsen.
FC Nordsjælland
have lost all five away matches this season. Their squad situation is not good
with two key players suspended. AGF are not in the best form, but after the
recent break they now have a full squad to choose from. When they met in
August, AGF won 2-1 and we expect a similar outcome. Odds 2.56 is a good offer
and we select this match as our Tip of the Week.
