AGF (8th) set out on what should have been a fruitful spring. AGF have made two signings, Olsen from FC Midtjylland and Bjørdal from Viking. Both should add quality. A host of offensive injuries and some poor friendlies have however lowered expectations. For AGF fans the fear of relegation should be bigger than the hope for a top half finish. Let us go through the injuries. Goalkeeper and captain Steffen Rasmussen is injured and reserve Ousager has not been synonymous with safety. Favourite striker Søren Larsen (6 goals in autumn) is injured and could be absent for the entire spring. Alternatives Vatsadze, Lange and Solberg are also struggling with injuries, which leaves AGF without a true striker. They are likely to try out Skhirtladze in front but 0 goals in 557 minutes should not scare FC Copenhagen. FC Copenhagen (3rd) are the favourite to reclaim the title despite a six point deficit to league leaders FC Midtjylland. The signing of striker Andreas Cornelius has increased their chances. Cornelius had a poor autumn in Cardiff, but with a hattrick in one of the friendlies he proved his striking abilities are still intact. FC Copenhagen actually ended up winning a friendly tournament, the Atlantic Cup, beating Spartak Moscow, Slovan Liberec and Breidablik with a total score of 11-0! So even though they lost defender Sigurdsson in the winter break, their defence looks solid. Only doubt for FC Copenhagen is key midfielder Jørgensen who probably wont be able to play the full 90 minutes, but Toutouh has done well in his absence.

AGF have not found the recipe yet and even in the last friendly coach Sørensen had to change formation at half time. Adding to a long list of vital injuries, AGF look like a loser against a FC Copenhagen team that are eager to prove that they are better than the table suggests. The odds have already dropped, but they will probably drop even further. Make the bet now.
